There is a mechanical spring wrapped around the gas spring (in part concealed by an additional cover).

Dinking (pushed-in points) or crimping (circumferential pressed groove

BLOC-O-LIFT

Actuation tappet in Piston rod.

STAB-O-SHOC

STAB-O-BLOC / STAB-O-MAT

Seat height adjustment in swivel chairs.

Actuation Tappet visible from the outside (external tappet) or actuation tappet not visible (internal tappet).
